Across our country and the world, thought leaders and creative contributors in every sector of society are innovating. This busy energy is producing innovations with new benefits. While still in their early phase, they are already demonstrating their value. A look back into our long history of innovation should encourage confidence that we have the potential to meet the new needs of the future and do so in a way that can shape a healthier, safer, more vital one.

We can view with excitement the innovations emerging from nonprofits, businesses, universities, incubators, accelerators, and that place of historic American invention, the garage. As they scale across sectors, in addition to solutions, they are creating new jobs, offering paths of opportunity to new careers, introducing new options for entrepreneurs to build on to shape healthy and more vital communities. The most important catalyst that will speed our journey forward is the shared cooperation that will enable us to achieve the future we seek.

THE IMAGINE FORWARD CAMPAIGN

The Imagine Forward national campaign will launch in 2027. It will hold a mirror to the best of who we are. It will reflect the history of a nation that fulfilled dreams of opportunity for millions; supported waves of innovation; sustained milestones of progress on the journey to achieve the ideals expressed in our founding documents; most importantly, it will focus on the “can do” spirit that has been central to American culture. The Campaign’s framing story will engage citizens in the new potential in emerging directions, provide training for community leaders and facilitators, education for regenerative practice, include presentations by thought leaders at the forefront of emerging directions, and include access to expertise and organized innovations and solutions.
