Guidelines for the Notetaker

  • Take notes during session to keep a record of the highlights of the brainstorming event
  • Coordinate amount of time to allow for each part of the brainstorming event with the facilitator
  • Keep track of time during session to avoid spending excessive time on any one idea or aspect
  • Let everyone know when there are only a few more minutes to complete any part of the brainstorming session ahead of time.
  • Summarize discussions and decisions; distribute a summary of the event to all group members via email.
